How Texas A and M International University calculates GPA
Texas A and M International University calculates GPA as a credit-weighted average: multiply each course’s grade points by its credits, add them up, and divide by total credits. The detail that matters is the grade scale.
The Texas A&M International grade scale — what makes it specific

Good to know
TAMIU grades with whole letters only (no plus/minus) and sets an unusually strict Dean's List: a 3.65 semester GPA on a full 15 completed hours.
Every figure here was read from Texas A&M International’s own registrar or catalog. Where a rule is set by an individual college rather than the institution, the page says so instead of presenting one college’s number as everyone’s.
