How University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh calculates GPA
University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh calculates GPA as a credit-weighted average: multiply each course’s grade points by its credits, add them up, and divide by total credits. The detail that matters is the grade scale.
The UW Oshkosh grade scale — what makes it specific
A+ rule: On the UW Oshkosh scale, there is no A+ — A = 4.0 is the top grade, and the scale runs down to D- at 0.67.
Failing grade: University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh uses "F" for a failing grade (0.0).
Repeated courses & grade replacement
The retake replaces the original: only the best grade counts toward the GPA. Students may repeat a course in which they earned below a C, once.

Good to know
A single term GPA under 1.00 puts a student straight onto suspension, independently of the cumulative-GPA probation track.
Every figure here was read from UW Oshkosh’s own registrar or catalog. Where a rule is set by an individual college rather than the institution, the page says so instead of presenting one college’s number as everyone’s.
