The UBC grade scale — what makes it specific
A+ rule: UBC uses a 4.33 scale: A+ = 4.33 (a real boost ABOVE 4.0), A = 4.0, A- = 3.7, etc.
Failing grade: University of British Columbia uses "F" for a failing grade (0.0).
