How the Indonesian IPK converts to US GPA
Indonesian universities grade on a 4.0 scale — the IPK (Indeks Prestasi Kumulatif), where A = 4, B = 3, C = 2, D = 1, E = 0. Because it's already a 4.0 scale, it maps almost 1:1 to the US GPA, so your IPK is a close estimate of your US GPA.

Is it competitive?
Most US and Canadian master's programmes want a US 3.0+ (a B average or higher). Because the IPK is close to 1:1, an IPK of 3.0+ is a solid baseline, with 3.3–3.5+ competitive for selective and funded programmes.
Credential evaluation
US programmes usually require a WES or ECE course-by-course evaluation; Canada uses WES Canada / IQAS / ICES. Indonesian universities issue English transcripts (Transkrip Nilai) on request.
