The regulation is scanned and printed as a two-column comparison: the original on the left, the text 'As amended in 2024' on the right. It was read by OCR; the ×10 sentence appears in the amended column and again in the CoE annexure. SCOPE (cl. 1): 'all regular Degree / Diploma / Certificate Programmes conducted by the University'; the regulation does not apply to distance-education programmes and supersedes existing regulations 'to the extent herein prescribed'. Amended grade table (Annexure B): 90–100 O 10; 80–<90 A+ 9; 70–<80 A 8; 60–<70 B+ 7; 50–<60 B 6; 45–<50 C 5; 40–<45 P 4; <40 F 0. SUPERSEDED: older departmental CBCS syllabi used a factor of 9.5 — MBA (w.e.f. July 2016) and M.Com (w.e.f. July 2018), both saying 'A multiplication factor of 9.5 for conversion of CGPA into percentage of marks … will be used'. Students graded under those older syllabi may still be issued ×9.5, so check the grade card year. The University has 11 associated colleges; this regulation does not say whether it covers them.
