Source & verification

MAKAUT (Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal) official circular 'How to Calculate Percentage from Your Grade Point' — publishes the DGPA-to-percentage conversion table directly: GPA 6.25→55%, 6.75→60%, 7.25→65%, 7.75→70%, 8.25→75%, confirming % = (GPA − 0.75) × 10 across every row. Directly corroborated by AOT's own Mandatory Disclosure document, which states norms laid down by the affiliating University (MAKAUT) are followed. Also corroborated by an independent student review stating 'Exams are taken by MAKAUT so its purely depended on makaut.'

Searched aot.edu.in directly — no dedicated CGPA-formula PDF, but the Mandatory Disclosure document explicitly confirms MAKAUT norms are followed, and multiple independent student reviews confirm exams are conducted by MAKAUT. No autonomy claim found anywhere for AOT. Standard low-override-risk MAKAUT affiliate, well-documented.
