OFFICIAL PIECEWISE FORMULA (not a single multiplier). The notice is scanned and was read on screen; its explanatory examples confirm the ×5 slope in the 5.5–6.49 band (6.00 → 57.50%). The notice says the certificate will not be issued to individual candidates and should be downloaded from the website. EARLIER VERSION: the University's NAAC SSR (2019, Criterion 2.5.4) printed the same bands but with ×10 in the 5.5–6.49 and 4.5–5.49 bands, which created jumps at 5.5 and 6.5 (e.g. 6.49 → 64.9% but 6.5 → 60%). The 2026 notice (×5) removes those jumps and supersedes the SSR text. Oddity kept as printed: the lowest band is '0 + (CGPA − 0.5) × 15' for 0.0–0.99, which is negative below 0.5 (clamped to 0 here) and jumps from 7.35% at 0.99 to 15% at 1.0. Fail-range only; it doesn't affect passing students. Master's ordinance (OA-11): First Division ≥ 60% or equivalent grade; Second Division ≥ 50%. CUJ is unitary (no affiliated colleges).
