Source & verification

INHERITED from the affiliating university, Rajiv Gandhi University (registry key rgu_arunachal): Ordinance 'Admission and Examination(s) in Undergraduate Programmes in Arts, Science and Commerce under Choice Based Credit System (CBCS)', The Gazette of India: Extraordinary, Part III—Section 4, No. 463, 2 November 2020 (Hindi), Section 3(c): 'ग्रेड अंक से प्रतिशत में परिवर्तन = ग्रेड अंक X 10.0' (Conversion of grade point to percentage = Grade point × 10.0).

DNGC is an affiliated, non-autonomous government college of Rajiv Gandhi University: its AQAR 2020-21 names 'RAJIV GANDHI UNIVERSITY' as affiliating university under 'Affiliated / Constitution Colleges', and the Principal's message says the college is 'heading towards autonomy under New Education Policy' (i.e. not yet autonomous). The ×10 formula is RGU's, inherited — not a DNGC rule. Caveats: RGU's ordinance is posted only in Hindi Gazette text; it covers the CBCS UG scheme. Current 2026-27 admissions are to NEP 'B.A. (Major)' programmes; RGU has not been found to publish a separate conversion for FYUGP, so those students should check the formula printed on the RGU mark sheet. Not to be confused with RGU's own M.Phil./Ph.D. coursework rule (×9.5). Website shows NAAC 'Grade C with CGPA 1.99' (2019 cycle).
