Ordinance No. 4 'Examination General', para 4.12.7 (PDF p. 58): 'Conversions from Grade Point Averages to percentages of marks do not have rigor or rationale. However, an approximate and indicative equivalence between CGPA and percentage of marks can be assessed by simple mathematical calculation i.e. CGPA multiplied by 10.' The NEP-2020 undergraduate Ordinance No. 191 A (M.P. Gazette, 2022), cl. 19 (p. 14), repeats it: 'Equivalent Percentage = CGPA x10. The percentage will be rounded off upto second decimal point.'
