Junagadh Agricultural University — 'Common Academic Regulations for Under Graduate Degrees in the SAU's of Gujarat – 2021' (JAU edition), definition 14: "'Grade Point (GP)' means marks obtained in a particular course converted into 10-point scale up to next three decimal places"; Rule 42.3: 'A student securing less than 50% marks (5.000 grade point) in a course, shall be considered to have failed'. PG: 'Revised Common Academic Regulations for PG Programmes – 2022', definitions: "'Grade Point (GP)' of a course is a measure of performance. It is obtained by dividing the per cent mark secured by a student in a particular course by 10, expressed and rounded off to second decimal place."
DERIVED (exact): each course grade point is the course percentage ÷ 10, and OGPA is the credit-weighted average of grade points. OGPA × 10 is therefore the credit-weighted percentage. There is no separate conversion sentence. Both regulations are scans with no text layer; I read them as rendered page images (UG definitions p. 2 of the regulation, Rule 42 p. 27; PG definitions p. 2). The older 2014 edition (text layer) already said GP is 'on 10 point scale' and paired '50% marks (5.0 grade point)'. UG classes (2014 edition, Rule 41.9): 5.50–5.99 Pass, 6.00–6.49 Second, 6.50–7.49 First, 7.50+ First with Distinction. Same common Gujarat SAU rule as Anand Agricultural University (key 'aauanand').
