Source & verification

Karnatak University, Dharwad — 'Regulations Governing the Post-Graduate Programmes in the Faculty of Commerce under the Choice Based Credit System' (w.e.f. 2022-23), cl. 12.1 grade table: '75 and above, up to 100.00 %' = '7.50 to 10.00' (A); '60 and above but less than 75 %' = '6.00 and above but less than 07.5' (B); '50 and above but less than 60 %' = '5.00 and above but less than 6.0' (C); '40 and above but less than 50 %' = '4.00 and above but less than 05.00' (D); 'less than 40.00 %' = 'Less than 4.00' (F). DERIVED: the table pairs percentage bands with grade-point bands at exactly one-tenth, so CGPA × 10 = percentage.

Karnatak University publishes no explicit conversion sentence. The PG regulation's own table maps percentage bands to grade-point bands one-to-one, so CGPA × 10 is the derived equivalent. Class is awarded on CGPA with the same thresholds (cl. 12.6).
