University of Mumbai (Engineering) uses a piecewise CGPI-to-percentage conversion on its ten-point scale, effective 2015-16, replacing the table on the back of the grade sheet: Percentage = 7.1 × CGPI + 12 when CGPI is below 7, and Percentage = 7.4 × CGPI + 12 when CGPI is 7 or above (CGPI 8.5 → 74.9%, rounded up to the next full integer → 75%).
