(2) PG/PhD ADMISSIONS: RTU's DAT-2019 admissions rule uses Percentage = (CGPA × 10) − 7.5 (CGPA 8.25 → 75%; sample table 6.25→55%, 7.75→70%) — this −7.5 offset is specific to the DAT-2019 PG/PhD admissions process and is NOT the UG B.Tech conversion. Using the wrong one changes the result by 7.5 points, so always verify against the regulation for your specific programme and year.
