Sibsagar College, Joysagar (Autonomous) Four Year Under Graduate Programmes Regulations, 2023 (Academic Council 28-04-2023; effective 2023-24), now administered by Sibsagar University, cl. 18.6: 'The formula for converting Grade points to Percentage shall be Grade Points multiplied by 10 which shall be stated at the bottom of the Marks/Grade Sheet.'

SCOPE: FYUGP from 2023-24 (the college-era regulations, Academic Council 28-04-2023) and the Master's CBCS Regulations 2022, which carry the identical cl. 18.6. The grade table (cl. 17.1) is banded: 90–100 O 10; 80–<90 A+ 9; 70–<80 A 8; 60–<70 B+ 7; 50–<60 B 6; 40–<50 C 5; 30–<40 P 4. Classes (cl. 20): Distinction CGPA ≥ 8.0 (first attempt, 4 years); First ≥ 6.0; Second ≥ 4.5; Simple Pass ≥ 3.0 (3-year). CAUTION FOR 2026-27 ONWARDS: the new Sibsagar University UG and PG regulations (in force from 2026-27) keep the sentence that the conversion formula 'shall be stated at the bottom of the Grade Sheet' (cl. 20.6) but do not state the formula. ×10 is the last stated rule; check the grade sheet for later batches. The Act 2023 and First Ordinances/Regulations 2026 (Gazette) are scanned and were not read.
