You can check this by running 9.067 through the forward Assam Agricultural University (AAU), Jorhat CGPA to percentage calculator — it returns 90.67%, confirming the two directions agree.
Why this is an estimate, not an official figure
A college issues your percentage from your actual CGPA, not the other way around — so reversing the formula recovers the CGPA that would produce that percentage. When both numbers appear on your grade card, always quote the official CGPA rather than this estimate.

Assam Agricultural University — Regulations on Academic Matters (Amended) of AAU, 2025 for Under Graduate Degree Programme (under Section 43 of the AAU Act, 1968; title clause 1.01.01 '… 2024 (Amended)'), cl. 3.08 'Grade points: Grade points in 10.00 scale is the point expressed in decimal by converting the per cent aggregate marks obtained by a student in a course and calculated up to 3rd decimal … Percentage of marks: (136/150) x 100 = 90.67 … Converted to 10.00 scale as grade point = 9.067'; cl. 3.08.02 table '100% 10.000; 99% 9.900; 98% 9.800; 97% 9.700; … 50% 5.000'.
DERIVED (exact): cl. 3.08 makes the grade point the course percentage written as a decimal to three places (e.g. 90.67% → 9.067). The grading table in cl. 3.08.02 runs '100% 10.000; 99% 9.900; 98% 9.800 … 50% 5.000'. So the credit-weighted CGPA × 10 equals the credit-weighted percentage exactly. There is no separate conversion sentence. UG: pass 50% per course; minimum CGPA 5.50 for the degree (cl. 3.13); Distinction CGPA ≥ 8.00 (cl. 3.14). The same regulation's annexure maps OGPA to divisions: 8.000+ First Division with Distinction; 7.000–7.999 First; 6.000–6.999 Second; 5.000–5.999 Pass. PG: 'Regulations on Academic Matters of AAU, 2022 (Amended)' (notification AAU/RG/ACAD-245(AT)/2023-24, 16-05-2023) uses the same grade-point rule (e.g. 76.75% → 7.675); pass 60%, minimum CGPA 6.50, Distinction 8.50. The veterinary and fishery faculties moved to the new Assam Veterinary and Fishery University in 2024 (key 'avfu'), which republishes these AAU regulations.
