Bodoland University Regulations on Under Graduate Degree Examinations under Choice Based Credit System (Examination Committee Res. BU-ECR-04/15, 17-11-2015; Academic Council Res. No. 3, 11-12-2015), cl. 18.9: 'For convenience, equivalent percentage of marks may be calculated by using the conversion formula: 10 x CGPA. However, this formula shall not be applied on the Grade Card/transcript.'
SCOPE: UG CBCS in the University and its affiliated colleges under the 2015 regulations, i.e. batches admitted before the FYUGP. The FYUGP Curriculum Framework (Academic Council 04-07-2023, from 2023-24) gives only the grade tables (91–100 O 10; 81–90 A+ 9; 71–80 A 8; 61–70 B+ 7; 55–60 B 6; 45–54 C 5; 40–44 P 4) and NO conversion formula. For FYUGP students the ×10 rule is not restated, so treat it as the University's last stated rule, not a confirmed FYUGP rule. The 2015 scheme (absolute grading): 90–100 O 10; 80–<90 A+ 9; 70–<80 A 8; 60–<70 B+ 7; 55–<60 B 6; 50–<55 C 5 … The clause itself says the formula 'shall not be applied on the Grade Card/transcript': grade cards show CGPA only. The regulation is scanned and was read by OCR in the browser; fetch tools fail on this site's certificate. Bodoland's Admission Committee (08-09-2020) also discussed CGPA→% conversion for admissions.
