EXPLICIT official rule, but note that the grade points are coarse 10-mark bands, so × 10 is the official equivalence, not a reconstruction of actual marks. The ordinance is a scanned PDF on Google Drive, linked from the University's own 'University Ordinances' page; I read it as a page image (p. 15). The same Directorate of Higher Education (DHE) template clause appears in IGU Meerpur's NEP ordinances. SCOPE: NEP-2020 UG (Scheme B read; Schemes A, C and D are the same template but were not read). PRE-NEP CBCS programmes are different: the Common UG Ordinance and the M.Sc./M.A./M.Com. CBCS ordinances rank results 'on the basis of the aggregate marks' with a marks-banded grade table (95–100 O 10 … 40–50 P 4), so use the aggregate percentage for those.
