Converting Darjeeling Hills University (DHU), Darjeeling percentage back to CGPA
Darjeeling Hills University (DHU), Darjeeling (West Bengal) officially converts CGPA to percentage with % = CGPA × 10 (derived from the University's own result sheet — no published rule). This page inverts that formula so you can estimate the CGPA behind a known percentage. Enter your percentage above and the calculator solves for the CGPA on the 10-point scale.
Worked example
The official Darjeeling Hills University (DHU), Darjeeling formula is % = CGPA × 10 (derived from the University's own result sheet — no published rule). Starting from a percentage of 62.5%, the formula reverses to a CGPA of about 6.25 on the 10-point scale. You can check this by running 6.25 through the forward Darjeeling Hills University (DHU), Darjeeling CGPA to percentage calculator — it returns 62.5%, confirming the two directions agree.
Why this is an estimate, not an official figure
A college issues your percentage from your actual CGPA, not the other way around — so reversing the formula recovers the CGPA that would produce that percentage. When both numbers appear on your grade card, always quote the official CGPA rather than this estimate.

Darjeeling Hills University, Provisional Result Sheet, M.A. in English, P.G. 3rd Semester Examination 2023 (Google Drive file linked from dhu.edu.in), columns 'Grand Total' and 'SGPA' on a 400-mark semester: 279 → 6.98, 250 → 6.25, 271 → 6.78, 253 → 6.33, 228 → 5.70, 232 → 5.80, 244 → 6.10, 268 → 6.70, 233 → 5.83 — i.e. SGPA = Grand Total ÷ 40 = percentage of marks ÷ 10 for every passing candidate. DERIVED: there is no published DHU regulation or conversion rule; one row (197 → 3.95, apparently a candidate with a failed paper) does not fit.
Derived from the University's own result data, not a regulation — flagged.
