Class is awarded on CGPA, not percentage: First Class with Distinction ≥ 7.5, First Class 6.5–<7.5, Second Class 5.5–<6.5, Pass Class 5.0–<5.5. IMPORTANT — STUDENTS WHO CLEARED ANY SUBJECT THROUGH A SUPPLEMENTARY EXAMINATION CANNOT RECEIVE FIRST CLASS WITH DISTINCTION; the highest available is First Class. Non-credit audit courses are marked Satisfactory/Unsatisfactory and excluded from SGPA/CGPA/percentage. Honors requires 15 additional credits and CGPA 7 with no backlogs.
