Converting The Glocal University, Saharanpur percentage back to CGPA
The Glocal University, Saharanpur (Uttar Pradesh) officially converts CGPA to percentage with % = CGPA × 9.5 ('समतुल्य प्रतिशत = CGPA × 9.5') — Glocal University NEP-2020 Ordinance (from 2025-26), cl. 5.2. This page inverts that formula so you can estimate the CGPA behind a known percentage. Enter your percentage above and the calculator solves for the CGPA on the 10-point scale.
Worked example
The official The Glocal University, Saharanpur formula is % = CGPA × 9.5 ('समतुल्य प्रतिशत = CGPA × 9.5') — Glocal University NEP-2020 Ordinance (from 2025-26), cl. 5.2. Starting from a percentage of 76%, the formula reverses to a CGPA of about 8 on the 10-point scale. You can check this by running 8 through the forward The Glocal University, Saharanpur CGPA to percentage calculator — it returns 76%, confirming the two directions agree.
Why this is an estimate, not an official figure
A college issues your percentage from your actual CGPA, not the other way around — so reversing the formula recovers the CGPA that would produce that percentage. When both numbers appear on your grade card, always quote the official CGPA rather than this estimate.
