Converting Gondwana University, Gadchiroli percentage back to CGPA
Gondwana University, Gadchiroli (Maharashtra) officially converts CGPA to percentage with % = (CGPA − 0.75) × 10 (ten-point scale courses). This page inverts that formula so you can estimate the CGPA behind a known percentage. Enter your percentage above and the calculator solves for the CGPA on the 10-point scale.
Worked example
The official Gondwana University, Gadchiroli formula is % = (CGPA − 0.75) × 10 (ten-point scale courses). Starting from a percentage of 77.5%, the formula reverses to a CGPA of about 8.5 on the 10-point scale. You can check this by running 8.5 through the forward Gondwana University, Gadchiroli CGPA to percentage calculator — it returns 77.5%, confirming the two directions agree.
Why this is an estimate, not an official figure
A college issues your percentage from your actual CGPA, not the other way around — so reversing the formula recovers the CGPA that would produce that percentage. When both numbers appear on your grade card, always quote the official CGPA rather than this estimate.

Gondwana University Ordinance No. 67 of 2017 (Award of CGPA to UG Degree Courses)
Gondwana University Ordinance 67 of 2017 uses different conversions by grading scale. TEN-POINT scale courses (B.E., LL.B., B.A.LL.B., B.Pharm): Percentage = (CGPA − 0.75) × 10 — e.g. CGPA 8.5 → 77.5% (this calculator uses this formula). SIX-POINT scale courses (B.A./B.Com/B.Sc/B.B.A./B.C.A. etc., graded O=6 down to F=0): a piecewise formula — for CGPA 1–4, % = 6.8 × CGPA + 29.8; for CGPA 4–6, % = 5.25 × CGPA² − 37.25 × CGPA + 122; equivalently the class formula is (CGPA − 0.75) × 100/6. If you are a six-point-scale (arts/science/commerce) student, use the six-point formula instead of the value shown here.
