The CGPA to percentage conversion formula is as below: a) If 3.5 ≤ CGPA < 4.5, then percentage (%) = {(CGPA-3.5)*10} + 50 b) If 4.5 ≤ CGPA < 7.0, then percentage (%) = {(CGPA-4.5)*8} +60 c) If 7.0 ≤ CGPA < 10.0, then percentage (%) = {(CGPA-7.0)*6} + 80'
IIM Raipur publishes its own non-linear conversion; it is NOT CGPA × 10. The bands meet cleanly at 4.5 → 60% and 7.0 → 80%. The formula is undefined below CGPA 3.5. The top band is written as 'CGPA < 10.0'; extending it gives 98% at CGPA 10. Examples: 8.0 → 86%; 6.0 → 72%; 4.0 → 55%.
