Converting Kaliabor College (Autonomous), Kuwaritol, Nagaon percentage back to CGPA
Kaliabor College (Autonomous), Kuwaritol, Nagaon (Assam) officially converts CGPA to percentage with % = CGPA × 10. This page inverts that formula so you can estimate the CGPA behind a known percentage. Enter your percentage above and the calculator solves for the CGPA on the 10-point scale.
Worked example
The official Kaliabor College (Autonomous), Kuwaritol, Nagaon formula is % = CGPA × 10. Starting from a percentage of 80%, the formula reverses to a CGPA of about 8 on the 10-point scale. You can check this by running 8 through the forward Kaliabor College (Autonomous), Kuwaritol, Nagaon CGPA to percentage calculator — it returns 80%, confirming the two directions agree.
Why this is an estimate, not an official figure
A college issues your percentage from your actual CGPA, not the other way around — so reversing the formula recovers the CGPA that would produce that percentage. When both numbers appear on your grade card, always quote the official CGPA rather than this estimate.
Source & verification
Kaliabor College (Autonomous) — Examination Regulations (w.e.f. Academic Session 2026-27, Academic Council Resolution No. KC/39/AC/26/04), cl. 10.2.d 'Conversion of CGPA to Percentage': 'Percentage = CGPA x 10'. Batches examined by Gauhati University before autonomy follow GU's FYUGP cl. 16.3(c), also CGPA × 10.
Gauhati University notified: 'Kaliabor College, P.O. Kuwaritol, Dist.- Nagaon, Assam- 782137 is an AUTONOMOUS COLLEGE ... five (5) years from the session 2026-27 to 2030-31 ... as per UGC's letter no. F.2-10/2023 (AC-Policy) dated 23rd February, 2026.' Internal inconsistency: the college's Academic Regulations 2026 cl. 10.2 says 'there will not be any percentage of marks, but all students will be provided with SGPA ... and CGPA', yet the Examination Regulations (which cl. 10.1 defers to) give 'Percentage = CGPA x 10'. Both GU and college give the same ×10, so students get the same answer. Grade table is stepped (91-100 = 10 ... 40 = 4). Worked SGPA example in cl. 10.2.b (20 credits, 159 credit points, SGPA 7.95); no CGPA→% worked example.
