RKDF University Ranchi — 'Examination Manual (Rules & Regulations)' (99 pp.), clause 11 'Award of Division', sub-clause (iii) (PDF p. 20): 'The conversion from grade to an equivalent percentage in a given academic program shall be according to the following formula applicable. Equivalent % Marks = CGPA Obtained x 100 / 10'. Clause 10(iii) (p. 19) says the final grade sheet will show 'overall CGPA, equivalent percentage marks and the division awarded'. Divisions (cl. 11(ii)): 75% and above First Division with Distinction; 60% to below 75% First Division; 40% to below 60% Second Division. Grade table (p. 18): O 90–100 = 10, A+ 80–89 = 9, A 70–79 = 8, B+ 60–69 = 7, B 50–59 = 6, C 45–49 = 5, P 40–44 = 4, F below 40 = 0.
EXPLICIT official rule in the University's examination manual (all programmes). Not RKDF University, Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh), a separate university.
