Shivaji University has no university-wide CGPA-to-percentage rule. Explicit ×10 rules exist only in the Department of Technology B.Tech rules (2023-24 revised, R.B.T. 12) and the M.Tech rules (2025-26, cl. 5.3), both limited to CGPA ≥ 4.5 and both promising an equivalence certificate on payment of the prescribed fee. Legacy Department of Technology B.Tech rules (w.e.f. 2011-12, R.B.T. 12) used Percentage = (CGPA × 10) − 7.5 (6.25 → 55%, 6.75 → 60%). The common UG/PG CBCS and NEP-2020 regulations (B.Com. NEP 2024-25, B.Com. CBCS 2022-23, B.A. CBCS 2018-19, M.Sc. CBCS 2019-20, NEP 2.0 credit regulations 2024-25) give only a gradation chart and SGPA/CGPA formulas, with no conversion sentence; the UG chart is non-linear (e.g. 35–44 marks = CGPA 5.00–5.49).
