Shri Krishna University (SKU), Chhatarpur — % → CGPA
Converting Shri Krishna University (SKU), Chhatarpur percentage back to CGPA
Shri Krishna University (SKU), Chhatarpur (Madhya Pradesh) officially converts CGPA to percentage with % = CGPA × 10 ('Equivalent Percentage = CGPA x10') — NEP UG (MP private-university Ordinance 14A/14B). This page inverts that formula so you can estimate the CGPA behind a known percentage. Enter your percentage above and the calculator solves for the CGPA on the 10-point scale.
Worked example
The official Shri Krishna University (SKU), Chhatarpur formula is % = CGPA × 10 ('Equivalent Percentage = CGPA x10') — NEP UG (MP private-university Ordinance 14A/14B). Starting from a percentage of 85%, the formula reverses to a CGPA of about 8.5 on the 10-point scale. You can check this by running 8.5 through the forward Shri Krishna University (SKU), Chhatarpur CGPA to percentage calculator — it returns 85%, confirming the two directions agree.
Why this is an estimate, not an official figure
A college issues your percentage from your actual CGPA, not the other way around — so reversing the formula recovers the CGPA that would produce that percentage. When both numbers appear on your grade card, always quote the official CGPA rather than this estimate.
Source & verification
Ordinances 14A and 14B for private universities (Madhya Pradesh Higher Education Department order dated 09-12-2022 under s. 29 of the M.P. Niji Vishwavidyalaya (Sthapana Evam Sanchalan) Adhiniyam, 2007; published in the Madhya Pradesh Rajpatra, Part 4(Kha), 23-12-2022), posted by Shri Krishna University as '101 A NEP Ordinance SKU' — cl. 19 (Division: First with distinction CGPA 8.00 or above; First 6.50 to < 8.0; Second 5.00 to < 6.50; Pass 4.00 to < 5.00): 'The conversion of CGPA into percentage will be as follow to facilitate its application in other academic matters: Equivalent Percentage = CGPA x10. The percentage will be rounded off upto second decimal point.'
EXPLICIT official rule, read on the University's own copy (20-page image scan; cl. 19 read as a page image, gazette p. 1087). SCOPE: NEP undergraduate programmes under the private-university Ordinance 14A/14B from 2022. Whether a later State ordinance for private universities drops the sentence (as Ordinance 14(1) of 2024 did for State universities) was not checked. CAVEAT: grade points are whole-number bands, so CGPA × 10 is the stated equivalence, not an exact recovery of marks. Rechecked 2026-09-25 (previous entry had not read the scan).
