How University of Arizona Global Campus calculates GPA
University of Arizona Global Campus calculates GPA as a credit-weighted average: multiply each course’s grade points by its credits, add them up, and divide by total credits. The detail that matters is the grade scale.
The Arizona Global Campus grade scale — what makes it specific
A+ rule: On the Arizona Global Campus scale, there is no A+ — A = 4.0 is the top grade, and the scale runs down to D- at 0.7.
Failing grade: University of Arizona Global Campus uses "F" for a failing grade (0.0).
Repeated courses & grade replacement
Undergraduate retakes: only the most recent grade and points are used in the GPA; earlier attempts stay on the transcript but drop out of the GPA calculation.

Good to know
Unlike some large online/competency-based schools (e.g. WGU), UAGC runs a non-term accelerated format but still computes a conventional 4.0 letter-grade GPA.
Every figure on this page was read from Arizona Global Campus’s own registrar or catalog. Where a rule is set by an individual college rather than the institution, the page says so rather than presenting one college’s number as everyone’s.
