Cal Poly Humboldt GPA
How California State Polytechnic University-Humboldt calculates GPA
California State Polytechnic University-Humboldt calculates GPA as a credit-weighted average: multiply each course’s grade points by its credits, add them up, and divide by total credits. The detail that matters is the grade scale.
The Cal Poly Humboldt grade scale — what makes it specific
A+ rule: On the Cal Poly Humboldt scale, there is no A+ — A = 4.0 is the top grade, and there is no D-.
Failing grade: California State Polytechnic University-Humboldt uses "F" for a failing grade (0.0).
Repeated courses & grade replacement
Grade forgiveness: an undergraduate may repeat a course only if the earned grade was below C, with up to 16 units excluded from the GPA and any one course repeated no more than twice. A further 12 units may be repeated under grade averaging, where both attempts count, for a maximum of 28 repeated units. Graduate repeats always average: all grades count.

Good to know
There is no D- and no A+, and the CSU-wide term is "academic notice" rather than probation, with the disqualification GPA rising from 1.50 for freshmen to 1.95 for seniors.
Every figure here was read from Cal Poly Humboldt’s own registrar or catalog. Where a rule is set by an individual college rather than the institution, the page says so instead of presenting one college’s number as everyone’s.
