University of Central Missouri calculates GPA as a credit-weighted average: multiply each course’s grade points by its credits, add them up, and divide by total credits. The detail that matters is the grade scale.
The Central Missouri grade scale — what makes it specific
A+ rule: On the Central Missouri scale, there is no A+ — A = 4.0 is the top grade, and there are no plus or minus grades at all.
Failing grade: University of Central Missouri uses "F" for a failing grade (0.0).
Repeated courses & grade replacement
Retake replaces for undergraduates: for courses repeated Fall 2015 to the current term, the most recent grade is the one used in the GPA and prior attempts are excluded. Graduate work differs - all attempts count unless up to six hours are petitioned out.

Dean’s List
University of Central Missouri names students to its Dean’s List at a term GPA of 3.50 with 12 or more graded, undergraduate semester credit hours (9 or more graded semester hours during summer semester).
