The CSU Northridge grade scale — what makes it specific
A+ rule: CSUN uses the CSU 4.0 plus/minus scale with NO A+ (A=4.0 max, A-=3.7, down to D-=0.7, F=0).
Failing grade: California State University, Northridge uses "F" for a failing grade (0.0).
Repeated courses & grade replacement
Grade forgiveness on repeats up to CSU unit limits; original grade remains on the transcript. WU = F.
Academic standing
Minimum 2.0 GPA; probation thresholds scale by class level. CSU systemwide grading (EO 1037).

CSU Northridge follows the CSU systemwide rule (Executive Order 1037): no A+, full plus/minus down to D-, F=0. CSUN sets its academic-probation GPA thresholds by class level for students earning below the standard.
