DePaul GPA
How DePaul University calculates GPA
DePaul University calculates GPA as a credit-weighted average: multiply each course’s grade points by its credits, add them up, and divide by total credits. The detail that matters is the grade scale.
The DePaul grade scale — what makes it specific
A+ rule: On the DePaul scale, there is no A+ — A = 4.0 is the top grade, and there is no D-.
Failing grade: DePaul University uses "F" for a failing grade (0.0).
Repeated courses & grade replacement
A retake replaces the original grade in the GPA; the original attempt's grade and credit are removed from term and cumulative GPA.

Good to know
DePaul runs on an academic quarter system (10-week terms), not semesters, so its Dean's List credit minimum (12 graded quarter hours) and probation timeline (three sequential quarters) mean something different than at a semester school.
Every figure here was read from DePaul’s own registrar or catalog. Where a rule is set by an individual college rather than the institution, the page says so instead of presenting one college’s number as everyone’s.
