A+ rule: On the Nebraska Omaha scale, A+ is awarded but capped at 4.0, and the scale runs down to D- at 0.67.
Failing grade: University of Nebraska at Omaha uses "F" for a failing grade (0.0).
Repeated courses & grade replacement
Only the most recent grade (not the highest) is used in the GPA when an undergraduate course is repeated; the original grade stays on the transcript.

Dean’s List

Academic probation and dismissal
Academic probation: cumulative GPA below 2.0 after attempting six or more semester hours.
Dismissal: suspension applied at end of spring term when semester GPA is below 2.0 and cumulative GPA falls below the credit-based threshold.
The minimum cumulative GPA depends on how far through the degree a student is:
