A+ rule: On the St. John's scale, there is no A+ — A = 4.0 is the top grade, and there is no D-.
Failing grade: St. John's University uses "F" for a failing grade (0.0).
Repeated courses & grade replacement
Repeat of a failed (F) course: grade replaces the F for GPA purposes (must be repeated within 4 academic years). Repeat of a passed course (since Spring 2020): only the repeated grade counts, and a course may only be repeated once.
