A+ rule: On the Prairie View A&M scale, there is no A+ — A = 4.0 is the top grade, and there is no D- — D is the lowest passing grade.
Failing grade: Prairie View A&M University uses "F" for a failing grade (0.0).
Repeated courses & grade replacement
Replacement is optional and capped: students may replace up to 12 credit hours of C/D/F grades; unreplaced repeats are averaged in.

PVAMU's Dean's List threshold is a 3.0-3.49 semester GPA, notably lower than sibling Corpus Christi's 3.65, and its grade-replacement is an optional 12-credit-hour cap rather than automatic.
