How Unity Environmental University calculates GPA

The Unity Environmental grade scale — what makes it specific
A+ rule: On the Unity Environmental scale, there is no A+ — A = 4.0 is the top grade, and there are no plus or minus grades at all.
Failing grade: Unity Environmental University uses "F" for a failing grade (0.0).
Repeated courses & grade replacement
Both attempts remain on the transcript, but only the HIGHEST grade (not the most recent) is used in the cumulative GPA. A course completed with C or higher may be repeated only once.
Academic standing

Dean’s List
Unity Environmental University names students to its Dean’s List at a term GPA of 3.5 with at least 6 credits successfully completed in the period, all grades C+ or higher and no incompletes.
Academic probation and dismissal
Academic Warning: cumulative GPA below 2.00 (baccalaureate), or completion rate below 67%, at the biannual satisfactory-academic-progress review.
Dismissal: Academically Dismissed from the University after a further instance of suspension following three appeals.

Unity does compute a GPA and does award Latin honors; unusually, a repeated course is counted at the highest grade earned rather than the most recent, and the Dean's List needs only 6 credits in a term.
