All share the sentence, the 7.5/6.5/5.5/5.0 class bands and the −0.5 constant. || BUT NOTE THE GRADE-LETTER VARIANT: RCE uses O (Outstanding) for the top grade where the JNTUK template and most peers use S (Superior). The mark bands and grade points are identical. A small but real divergence, and a reminder that colleges do edit these documents rather than copying blindly. || INTERNAL CONSISTENCY PASSES: (CGPA − 0.5) × 10 reduces to 10·GP − 5, mapping grade points onto mark-band midpoints (GP 10 → 95 against a ≥90 band; GP 5 → 45 against 44.5). || THE REGULATION IS PUBLISHED PER-DEPARTMENT, bundled into each department's syllabus document on a SEPARATE FILE HOST (files.rcee.ac.in), while the main site sits on rcee.ac.in and the exam cell on examcell.rcee.ac.in. Grade scale (10-point absolute): O (Outstanding) = 10 (≥90), A (Excellent) = 9 (80-89), B (Very Good) = 8 (70-79), C (Good) = 7 (60-69), D (Average) = 6 (50-59), E (Pass) = 5 (40-49), F (Fail) = 0, Ab (Absent) = 0. Class is awarded on CGPA, not percentage: First Class with Distinction ≥ 7.5, First Class ≥ 6.5 < 7.5, Second Class ≥ 5.5 < 6.5, Pass Class ≥ 5.0 < 5.5. Non-credit audit courses are marked Satisfactory/Unsatisfactory and excluded from SGPA/CGPA/percentage; no class or division is awarded for the Honors programme.
