Both are chaired by DR. M. SANTHIRAMUDU. Both give their address as NERAWADA 'X' ROADS on NH-40 (formerly NH-18), Nandyal. RGMCET's motto is 'Education for Peace'; SREC's is 'Education for Peace and Progress'. RGMCET publishes +91-98663-08422 and 08423; SREC publishes 9866308475 — THE SAME 986630-84xx BLOCK. A third institution, SANTHIRAM MEDICAL COLLEGE (NH-18, Nandyal, est. 2005, 100 MBBS seats, 690-bed hospital), publishes the email smc@rgitnandyal.com — A DOMAIN NAMING RGIT, WHICH LINKS THE MEDICAL COLLEGE TO THE RAJEEV GANDHI INSTITUTE LINEAGE. THESE ARE ALL ONE EDUCATIONAL GROUP AT NANDYAL. || THEY ARE NEVERTHELESS DISTINCT INSTITUTIONS WITH DIFFERENT AUTONOMY DATES AND DIFFERENT REGULATIONS: RGMCET autonomous since 2010 using 'RGM-R-20xx' prefixes and computing CGPA from 150 of 160 credits; SREC autonomous since 2023 using plain 'R23' and (on the M.Tech evidence) no such credit exclusion. BOTH STATE −0.5. Distinguish by name and prefix, never by address or phone. || ⚠️ THIS IS THE SECOND COLLEGE IN THE REGISTRY TO ATTRIBUTE THE CONSTANT TO AICTE, after NECG Gudur — and the wording is verbatim identical, including the unusual two-decimal '0.50'. Two independently drafted regulations, in different districts under different managements, reproducing the same sentence. THIS STRENGTHENS THE CONCLUSION THAT −0.5 IS A NATIONAL AICTE NORM RATHER THAN A REGIONAL TEMPLATE ARTEFACT, and further undermines the drafting-route heuristic. It also sharpens the doubt over the jntua entry's × 9.5. || ⚠️ THE R23 CONTAINS RESIDUAL PRE-AUTONOMY LANGUAGE — a fingerprint of a recently-autonomous college. §8(i) reads 'eligible to appear for the UNIVERSITY external examinations'; §16 Exit Policy routes a PG Diploma exit 'to the university through the respective institution' and states 'THE UNIVERSITY shall resolve any issues that may arise'. In a fully autonomous regulation these should read 'College'. Compare MITS Madanapalle's R25, which systematically replaced every 'College' with 'University' on becoming a deemed university — SREC has done the reverse job incompletely. AICTE approved; UGC 2(f) and 12(B); permanently affiliated to JNTUA; ISO 9001:2015; NAAC 'A' at CGPA 3.2/4.0; NBA accredited for B.Tech in ECE and CSE. ⚠️ COLLEGEDUNIA SAYS NAAC 'A+' WHERE THE COLLEGE'S OWN SITE AND A STUDENT REVIEW BOTH SAY 'A' AT 3.2 — USE 'A'. || ⚠️ ADDRESS AND HIGHWAY: the college says 'NH-40, 12 KM away from Nandyal'; zollege and collegedunia say 'NH-18, Nandyal 518501'. NH-18 WAS RENUMBERED NH-40 — the same renumbering trap as RSREC (NH-5/NH-16) and RISE Prakasam. The Facebook page and IndiaMART both give Nerawada 'X' Roads. || PROGRAMMES: B.Tech in Mechanical, CSE, IT, ECE and EEE (ECE intake 120, others 60 each); M.Tech in CSE, CSE-AIML and Embedded Systems; MBA; MCA; M.Pharm. The M.Tech clause is verbatim identical to NECG Gudur's, including the two-decimal '0.50' and the AICTE attribution, so the B.Tech constant is very likely the same, but that is an inference. || AUTONOMOUS SINCE 2023, conferred by UGC — stated on the college's own site: 'It has been conferred Autonomous status by UGC in 2023.' Corroborated from both directions: a careers360 answer of July 2019 states 'Santhiram engineering college, Nandyal is NOT autonomous. It is affiliated to JNTU Anantapur', and a 2024 collegedekho student review says 'The college was non autonomous at first for years but in 2023 after NAAC visiting it is autonomous now.' THE 2019 AND 2024 SOURCES TOGETHER BRACKET THE GRANT PRECISELY. || M.TECH R23 DETAIL: 70 credits over two years (PC 20, PE 15, OE 3, MoC 2, Project/Seminar/Internship/Co-curricular 30).
