Converting Barkatullah University (BU), Bhopal percentage back to CGPA
Barkatullah University (BU), Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh) officially converts CGPA to percentage with % = CGPA × 10 (MP NEP Ordinance 14 A, cl. 19 — NEP UG, 2021-22 onwards). This page inverts that formula so you can estimate the CGPA behind a known percentage. Enter your percentage above and the calculator solves for the CGPA on the 10-point scale.
Worked example
The official Barkatullah University (BU), Bhopal formula is % = CGPA × 10 (MP NEP Ordinance 14 A, cl. 19 — NEP UG, 2021-22 onwards). Starting from a percentage of 82%, the formula reverses to a CGPA of about 8.2 on the 10-point scale. You can check this by running 8.2 through the forward Barkatullah University (BU), Bhopal CGPA to percentage calculator — it returns 82%, confirming the two directions agree.
Why this is an estimate, not an official figure
A college issues your percentage from your actual CGPA, not the other way around — so reversing the formula recovers the CGPA that would produce that percentage. When both numbers appear on your grade card, always quote the official CGPA rather than this estimate.
