IMPORTANT DIVERGENCE FROM THE MAKAUT-WIDE CIRCULAR. GCECT is UGC-autonomous (granted 2012, extended for 2018-23), and its Academic Council set its own formula — flat CGPA × 10, NOT the (CGPA − 0.75) × 10 used by non-autonomous MAKAUT affiliates. This is exactly the override risk flagged as hypothetical for HIT/AEC/KGEC — here it is confirmed real, with a directly hosted primary source. Effective from Academic Regulation 2018-19 (Order No. GCECT/AC/1293/18-19, dated 17 November 2018) — students admitted before 2018-19 may have followed a different rule; not established in this search. The certificate notes GCECT no longer issues this on individual request — students/agencies are directed to download it from the website instead.
