DO NOT CONFUSE WITH GVPCE (slug gvpce), the co-educational Gayatri Vidya Parishad College of Engineering in the same locality under the same parent society. Note the unusual 55/60 split between B and B+, and that grade P is unavailable for practicals, drawing, Design Thinking, Skill Oriented Courses, internships and project — those pass at 50. A minimum SGPA of 5.0 is required to pass each semester. Class is awarded on CGPA, not percentage: First Class with Distinction ≥ 7.0 (within four years for regular / three for lateral entry, without any supplementary appearance in any semester), First Class ≥ 6.0 and < 7.0, Second Class / Pass ≥ 5.0 and < 6.0.
