Nirma University's B.Tech academic regulations state the conversion directly: Equivalence % of marks = CGPA value × 10 (CGPA 8.0 → 80%). The University uses an absolute grading system with letter grades O = 10 (91% and above), A+ = 9 (81–90%), A = 8 (71–80%), B+ = 7 (61–70%), B = 6 (51–60%), C = 5 (46–50%), P = 4 (40–45%, minimum pass), F = 0 (below 40%); the percentage bands are uneven, but the CGPA-to-percentage conversion itself is the flat ×10 stated above. This same conversion (Equivalence % of marks = CGPA value × 10) is also stated in Nirma's MBA regulations under the Faculty of Management (R.MBA.(PG) 12.4), so it holds across both the Faculty of Technology & Engineering and the Faculty of Management; other faculties may state their own conversion. Historical note: Nirma's older CPI-based regulations (R.ENG.(UG), using the Cumulative Performance Index rather than CGPA) used a −0.5 offset — % marks = (CPI − 0.5) × 10 — so graduates holding older CPI transcripts should apply that formula instead; current CGPA-based programmes use the flat ×10 above.
