I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University converts CGPA to percentage using a multiplier of 10: Percentage = CGPA × 10 (CGPA 8.0 → 80%). This was implemented by University notification dated 30-07-2021 (approved by the 52nd Academic Council and 72nd Board of Governors) and applies to all students from the April/May 2020 examination session and onwards pass-outs. IMPORTANT era split: the ×10 factor explicitly replaced the earlier multiplier of 9.5 — so students who passed out before the April/May 2020 session were converted as CGPA × 9.5, while April/May 2020 onwards uses CGPA × 10.
