EXPLICIT rule in an ordinance that applies to all programmes (Ordinances 7–30), repeated in programme ordinances 26–35 and in the original AISECT ordinances (AU_ordinances.pdf); the NEP UG Ordinance 35A (2022) states 'Equivalent Percentage = CGPA x 10'.
