RGPV's B.E. ordinance (Ord. 4(A), §7.2) converts the cumulative grade point average to an equivalent percentage as: Percentage marks scored = CGPA × 100 ÷ 10, i.e. % = CGPA × 10 (CGPA 7.5 → 75%). This is consistent with the ordinance's own division bands (§8.3): First Division with Honours at CGPA ≥ 7.5 (≥ 75%), First Division at 6.5 ≤ CGPA < 7.5 (65–75%), Second Division at 5.0 ≤ CGPA < 6.5 (50–65%), with a minimum CGPA of 5.0 (50%) required for the degree. The grading is absolute-marks based (A+ 91–100 = 10 points down to D 31–40 = 4 points).
