Converting Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University (SRTMUN), Nanded percentage back to CGPA
No CGPA to percentage conversion from Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University (SRTMUN), Nanded (Maharashtra) itself has been confirmed. This page reverses the estimate % ≈ CGPA × 10 (derived — no explicit conversion rule), so the CGPA it shows is doubly approximate; quote the CGPA on your transcript.
Worked example
The estimate used here is % ≈ CGPA × 10 (derived — no explicit conversion rule). Starting from a percentage of 75%, the formula reverses to a CGPA of about 7.5 on the 10-point scale. You can check this by running 7.5 through the forward Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University (SRTMUN), Nanded CGPA to percentage calculator — it returns 75%, confirming the two directions agree.
Why this is an estimate, not an official figure
A college issues your percentage from your actual CGPA, not the other way around — so reversing the formula recovers the CGPA that would produce that percentage. When both numbers appear on your grade card, always quote the official CGPA rather than this estimate.
Source & verification
SRTMUN — Credit Framework & General Guidelines for implementation of NEP-2020 for UG 3/4-year programmes (30.07.2024): grade-point ranges O 9.00–10.00 (90.00–100%), A+ 8.00–8.99 (80.00–89.99), A 7.00–7.99 (70.00–79.99), B+ 6.00–6.99 (60.00–69.99), B 5.50–5.99 (55.00–59.99), C 5.00–5.49 (50.00–54.99), P 4.00–4.99 (40.00–49.99), F < 4.00 (< 40); 'students with a CGPA of 9.00 and above who passed all the courses in first attempt shall be awarded the degree in First Class with Distinction.'
NO EXPLICIT CONVERSION RULE: SRTMUN's NEP grade-point ranges run exactly parallel to marks ÷ 10 (e.g. 55.00–59.99% → 5.50–5.99), so CGPA × 10 approximates the credit-weighted percentage — a derivation, not a stated rule. The University itself asks PET applicants for an 'Equivalent percentage certificate' without publishing a formula. Classes: Distinction ≥ 9.00 (first attempt), First 6.00–8.99, Second 5.00–5.99, Pass 4.00–4.99. Applies to NEP UG (2024-25 onward); pre-NEP CBCS rules were not located. NOTE: a registry entry for an SRTMUN-affiliated college cites BAMU (a different university) — review it.
