VERIFIED 2026-08-15 from the college's own AR23 regulation, read in full; formula stated at §20. || SIXTH JNTU-GV COLLEGE IN SIX ROWS, and the affiliation is stated three times on the regulation's own cover and back pages: 'Affiliated to JNTU-GV, Vizianagaram'. dial4college still says 'autonomous college affiliated to JNTU Kakinada' — stale. collnod has it right. || THIS ROW CLOSES A LONG-STANDING PENDING ITEM: Raghu was flagged earlier in the sweep as the reciprocal of Raghu Institute of Technology (RIT), which remains robots-blocked. REC and RIT are separate colleges under the same Raghu Educational Society, and REC's constant must NOT be carried to RIT — the Avanthi pair in this same batch showed two same-society, same-code colleges differing by 0.25. RIT still requires its own document. || THE 'AR' PREFIX HOLDS THE DIAGNOSTIC AT SIX-FOR-SIX. AR23 is institutional, and the course codes follow a distinctive 23XX999 scheme (23HS101, 23BS101, 23ES102) rather than the JNTU-GV R23XX pattern seen at Miracle. But note an internal inconsistency: the LATERAL ENTRY section is headed 'ACADEMIC REGULATIONS (R23)' without the AR prefix, while the regular section says AR23 — the lateral-entry text was pasted from the university template without rebadging. || THE DOCUMENT IS THE JNTU-GV/JNTUK TEMPLATE with heavier front-end editing than most. Raghu added its own §1 'Courses of Study' branch table, which pushes every subsequent section up by one — so Grading is §20 here where it is §19 at Miracle, DIET and UCET. The body text is otherwise identical, including unadapted university language: 'the University shall allow', 'the principal of the respective college shall forward such proposals to the University', and §28 ending 'the decision of the Vice-Chancellor is final'. || THREE GENUINE INSTITUTIONAL EDITS, all raising the bar: (1) Honors enrolment at 7.5 CGPA rather than the template's 7.0; (2) an active-maintenance rule for Minors — registration ceases if SGPA or CGPA drops below 7.75, and the Minor requires a minimum GPA of 7.75 in all its subjects, with no supplementary appearances permitted; (3) separate CGPAs shown on transcripts for the major and the minor. Raghu's Minor is materially harder to hold than the template's. || TWO NUMBERING GLITCHES: §19's heading has swallowed the induction-attendance clause ('19. For induction programme attendance shall be maintained as per AICTE norms. Promotion Rules:'), the same fault seen in Miracle's copy — evidence both descend from the same defective master. And §19's cross-reference points to 'section 16' where it means section 18. || GRADE TABLE HAS LOST THE LETTER 'S' from its top row, reading '90 & above | Superior | 10' — identical to the fault in Miracle's copy, confirming a shared source file. || NINE B.TECH BRANCHES, an unusually wide CSE split: Civil, EEE, Mechanical, ECE, CSE, and CSE in AI&ML, Data Science, Cyber Security and Internet of Things. || FOUNDED 2001 by the RAGHU EDUCATIONAL SOCIETY — the oldest college in this northern batch. NAAC 'A+' per the regulation cover; collnod reports NAAC 'A' with CGPA 3.35/4, which is the earlier cycle. NBA re-accredited. UGC 2(f) and 12(B). ISO 9001:2015 and 14001:2015. NIRF Engineering 151-200 band. Campus roughly 40-50 acres. Ranked No. 1 in North Andhra for placements by collnod. || ADMISSIONS SPLIT 70% Category A via AP EAPCET and 30% Category B management quota; M.Tech also accepts GATE. || PIN 531162 IS SHARED WITH AVANTHI INSTITUTE OF ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY, Cherukupally — both in the Bheemunipatnam/Bhogapuram belt. Grade scale (10-point absolute): S (Superior) = 10 (≥90), A (Excellent) = 9 (80-89), B (Very Good) = 8 (70-79), C (Good) = 7 (60-69), D (Average) = 6 (50-59), E (Pass) = 5 (40-49), F (Fail) = 0, AB (Absent) = 0. Class is awarded on CGPA, not percentage: First Class with Distinction ≥ 7.5 WITHOUT ANY SUPPLEMENTARY APPEARANCE, First Class 6.5–<7.5, Second Class 5.5–<6.5, Pass Class 5.0–<5.5. Non-credit audit courses are marked Satisfactory/Unsatisfactory and excluded from SGPA/CGPA/percentage. THE HONORS AND MINOR THRESHOLDS AT RAGHU ARE 7.5, NOT THE USUAL 7.0 — enrolment into Honors requires CGPA 7.5 with no backlogs, and a registered Minor lapses if either SGPA or CGPA falls below 7.75 at any point. No class or division is awarded for Honors.
