ADEA AADSAS GPA Calculator
Quick answer: ADEA AADSAS recalculates every applicant’s GPA from their transcripts on a 4.0 scale: A+ and A are both 4.0, A- is 3.7, B+ 3.3, and F, E and WF are 0. Every attempt of a repeated course counts, pass/fail and AP credit are left out, and quarter hours are multiplied by 0.667. Each course is placed by its ADEA AADSAS course subject, which decides whether it counts in the Biology/Biochemistry/Chemistry/Physics, Science GPAs.

How ADEA AADSAS calculates your GPA
ADEA AADSAS: “…each A-F or 0-100 grade you entered in the Grade field is first converted to a ADEA AADSAS numeric grade value, then multiplied by the attempted credits. The resulting product is Quality Points. Your total Quality Points are then divided by your Attempted Credits to determine your GPA.”
“ADEA AADSAS calculates all GPAs in semester hours. Courses that were completed in quarter hours are converted to semester hours. The conversion ratio is 1.0 quarter hour = 0.667 semester hours.” “ADEA AADSAS does not recognize an individual school's policies for forgiveness, academic renewal, or grade replacement for repeated courses. ADEA AADSAS will verify based on how grades for repeated courses are reported on the official transcripts. All grades earned for repeated courses are factored into your ADEA AADSAS School GPA.”
“Non-graded credits are not included in your GPAs. Non-graded credits are earned credits for which you did not receive actual letter grades (e.g., advanced placement credits, "pass" or "satisfactory" credits, college board AP exams, courses taken as pass/fail, etc.).” And “…a grade of WF (i.e., equivalent of a withdrawn with penalty, withdrawn failing, etc.) is factored into GPA calculations as an F.”
Which GPAs ADEA AADSAS reports
ADEA AADSAS defines two combinations: Biology/Biochemistry/Chemistry/Physics and Science (Biochemistry, Biology, Chemistry, Other Science and Physics). Mathematics and statistics subjects such as Calculus, Statistics and Biostatistics sit in AADSAS’s Other Science category, so they count in the Science combination.
Type the course subject that matches the course on your transcript — the box suggests ADEA AADSAS’s own subject names. A subject ADEA AADSAS does not list still counts in your overall GPA.

Worked example
ADEA AADSAS applies one formula to every GPA. Five courses — an A in a 4-credit course, a B in 3 credits, a C in 4 credits, a D in 3 credits and an F in 3 credits — give 16 + 9 + 8 + 3 + 0 = 36 quality points over 17 attempted credits: 36 ÷ 17 = 2.12. (This is the worked example in PharmCAS’s help center; the arithmetic is the same in every Liaison service.)
