Formula
Cumulative GPA = sum(4-point grade x credits) / sum(credits) after mapping each 10-point mark to A/B/C/D/F. The 4-point letter GPA is used directly as the US GPA.
Worked example
A course mark of 8.0/10 falls in 7.0–8.4 -> grade B -> 3.0 on both the Vietnamese 4-point and US 4.0 scales.
